Mr. Aaron Walter Robertson, age 89 of Bassett, VA, passed away on June 22, 2023.
He was born on March 23, 1934, in Spray, North Carolina to Hiram Levi Robertson and Bertha Bell Robertson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Roark Robertson, two grandsons, Shawn Robertson, and Israel Bauguess, three sisters, Alma Kriniskie, Ava Coleman, Audrey Capalko, five brothers, Alton, Allen, Auston, Albert, and Adrian Robertson.
Left to cherish his memories are his two daughters, Tiejuania Bauguess (Larry), and Patty Robertson, two sons, Terry Robertson (Marcia), and Mark Robertson, two sisters, Alva Jacqueline Neil, and Alene Dyson, one brother, Andrew David (A.D.) Robertson, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow the next day, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 4866 Moorefield Store Road, Stuart, VA 24171. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, make donations to the Family Worship Center, 1080 Preston Road, Martinsville, VA 24112, or to the Alzheimer"s Association, Patrick County Chapter, P.O. Box 1301, Stuart, VA 24171. The family will be at other times at the residence of Mr. Robertson. Collins Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Robertson family.
