Rev. Albert Jackson Robertson, 76, of 1878 Wayside Road, Stuart, formerly of Martinsville, died Wednesday, March 6 2013 at his residence. He was born in Eden, NC on March 30, 1936 to Rev. Hiram Levi Robertson and Bertha Bell Robertson, both deceased. He was the founder and pastor of Adventure in Faith Church in Martinsville, formerly known as North Martinsville Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired after forty nine years of pastoring. During his pastorate he ministered on radio and television as "The Last Days Message ". Albert was a graduate of Emmanuel Bible College in Franklin Springs, GA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Kriniskie and Audrey Capalko and two brothers, Allen Robertson and Alton Robertson, special canine companions, little girl and little boy (Pookie) Ratcliff.

Surviving are his wife of fifty five years, Gloria Pendleton Robertson of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law; Elizabeth Ann Wright and husband Steve of Newburgh, IN and Ruth R. Ratcliff, licensed Virginia Funeral Service Licensee with Collins-McKee-Stone of Martinsville and Community Funeral Service of Ridgway, VA and husband Kelly G. Ratcliff, licensed Virginia and North Carolina Funeral Service Licensee and Location Manager of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway, VA, of Stuart, one son and daughter-in-law, James A. Robertson and wife, Treva of Patrick Springs, three sisters, Ava Coleman of Stoneville, NC, Alva Jacqueline (Jackie ) Neil of Brunswick, GA and Alene Dyson of Reidsville, NC, four brothers, Rev. Auston Robertson of Martinsville, Andrew David "AD"Robertson of Winston Salem, NC, Aaron Robertson of Bassett and Adrian Robertson of Chesapeake, three grandchildren, Amanda Robertson, Derick Robertson and wife, Amanda M. and Dena Robertson all of Patrick Springs, three canine companions, Gizmo, Baby and Victoria "Sissy" Ratcliff of the home and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with Pastor Randall Smith and Pastor Paul Hooker officiating, interment will be private in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC.
