Mrs. Eunice Roark Robertson, age 83 of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a decline in health.
Mrs. Robertson was born on September 28, 1936, in Patrick County, Virginia, to the late John Terry Roark and the late Pearl Hutchins Roark. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Shawn Robertson, a sister, Inis Hayes, and brothers, Oliver and John Roark.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by her husband of 64 years, Aaron Walter Robertson of the residence; two daughters: Tiejuania Bauguess and husband, Larry, of Tarboro, N.C., Patty Robertson of Bassett, Virginia; two sons: Terry Robertson of Ridgeway, Virginia, Mark Robertson of Rustburg, Virginia; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will have a private viewing at Collins Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2020, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 4866 Moorefield Store Road, Stuart, Virginia, with Elder Jesse Hutchens and Elder Luray Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
