Styles Barker, 57, died at his home, 116 Colonial Avenue, Greenville at 8:45 o'clock tonight following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Selma Marrit Barker; one daughter, Mrs. W. E. Perry; one son, Pickens Barker; nine brothers and sisters, J. C. and Garvin Barker, Miss Lizzie Barker, T. D. Barker, Coneross community; Mrs. L. D. Hudson, Greenville; Paul Barker and Mrs. J. C. Brown, Earl's Grove, Mrs. C. E. DuBose, Seneca; Mrs. Oscar Morgan, Pickens.
Funeral services were conducted from City View Baptist church Greenville, at 11 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. J. A. Howard. Burial was in Coneross Baptist church cemetery, Oconee county.
The following deacons of the City View Baptist church served as pallbearers: E. W. Bridwell, Johni Ballenger, L. M. Simmons, R. B. Brown, Lawrence Aiken and J. M. Woods.
