Annie Mae stayed in really good health until she fell and broke a hip, that is when she was digonised with alzheimer's. She lived not ever a year after.

Walhalla, SC—Annie Mae Deaton Stubblefield, 89, wife of the late Ernest Kay
Stubblefield, of 151 Springbrook Road, Walhalla, SC, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her home.

A native of Walhalla, Mrs. Stubblefield was the daughter of the late Odes Ernest and Virginia Schultz Deaton. She was a retired textile employee and of the
Church of God faith.

She is survived by sons, Hurley, Jerry L.
and Milton K. one daughter, Hilda L. Wald of Walhalla; brother, Frank Deaton of Walhalla; sister,
Edna; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stubblefield was predeceased by daughter, Glenda F. Duncan; brothers, Edward Deaton and Lewis Deaton; and sisters, Nora Chappel, Rubye Whitfield, Mary Heron, Martha Leard and Carrie
Stubblefield.

Services will be held March 19, 2010 in the chapel of Davenport Funeral home
with a private family burial.
