On November 10, 1824 Loretta (“Lorett”) Mosher, daughter of Welcome Mosher and Sally Olmstead, was born in Cayuga, Cayuga Co., NY.

In 1848 Loretta married William D. Earl.

On the 1860 United States Census for Veteran, Chemung Co., NY Lorretta Earll, age 36, was listed with her husband Wm. B. Earll, and their children Frank, John, Willard J., Annetta and Catharine. William’s occupation was shown as Mason.

On the 1870 United States Census for Big Flats, Chemung Co., NY Lorette Earl, age 45, was listed with her husband Williams Earl, and their children Frank, John, Lorette L., Charles W. and Lelwand (Legrand). William’s occupation was shown as Brick Mason.

On the 1880 United States Census for Elmira, Chemung Co., NY Lorett Earl, age 54, was listed with her husband Wm. Earl, and their children Libbie, Charles W. and Legrand. William’s occupation was shown as Brick Mason.
