Puerto Rican soprano who died tragically. Vadiz was the daughter of Puerto Rican actress and show host Meche Marchand, and of Puerto Rican trio singer Jose Luis Vadiz Colon (known professionally as Guito Vádiz). She got her Bachelor's degree in Puerto Rico, and her Master's from the Manhattan School of Music. She sang with the Metropolitan Opera and in Rome. Vadiz had one hit record 'Amor En Mil Idiomas'. Vadiz was found unconscious in a coma in her new apartment in Rome where her lawyer husband Vittoriano Luissi was found dead from inhaling gas fumes from a faulty heater. Vadiz was flown to Puerto Rico but died one week later.
