Hans came from Stettin/Szczecin,which was in Germany before 1945.He was a soldier during wwI,served in german army and he had 2 brothers,which fallen during wwI:

His sibling,who lived after wwI still in Szczecin built "symbolic" gravestone for their fallen brothers after wwI in Central Cemetry in Stettin/Szczecin.True Hans' grave is rather in France,but I don't know,where.
