MR. T. D. ALEXANDER IS DEAD

The Tribune regrets to learn that Mr. Theodore D. Alexander passed away at his home about four miles north of here last Thursday. Mr. Alexander was born and reared and lived all his life in the Coneross section and he had many warm friends. He was a few days past 79 and leaves four sons, Messrs. Walter, Oscar, Wade and Lester Alexander and a number of grand and great grandchildren. His wife who was Miss Maggie Dickson, a sister of Mrs. J. H. Barnett and Mrs. W. B. Adams, died many years ago. Mr. Alexander was brother of Mr. Wilburn O. Alexander and Mrs. Sue Hunsinger. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him to the grave.
Mr. Alexander will be missed not only by his sons, but by the people of his vicinity, for he was a good farmer and a good citizen. He had been a member and deacon in Coneross church since he was about grown.
The interment was made in the family cemetery at his home Friday, the services being in charge of his pastor, Dr. F. H. Martin. Mr. Alexander's father, James Alexander, died in the civil war and T. D. was acquainted with the struggles and hardships that overtook the widows in the sixties who were left with a large family of children. We sympathize with the boys, all of whom were our school mates, for we know too well how a father is missed when he is gone.
