John was the son of John Wesley and Ethel (Randolph) Meadows.

John was a WWII Veteran. Company E, 351st Engineers
Inducted Nov 11, 1942
Stationed in Northern France; Rhineland; Ardennes
Awarded Theater Ribbon w/3 Bronze Stars
Awarded Good Conduct Ribbon
Honorably Discharged: Sept 29, 1945

John married the love of his life, Ora Edna Davenport, on November 8, 1940. They had 4 children, and taught them all the importance of family and living Christian lives. They were married for 57 years. Ora passed away on September 14, 1997. Her passing left a great void in his life.

On June 13, 1999, John married again to Ruby Turner. They were married for almost 10 years before he died.

John Meadows was buried with Military Honors.

No human being is perfect. Dad was close.

We miss you.
