Joleen Munson was born May 8, 1963 in Taft, CA. She returned to her Heavenly Father on January 28, 2009 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, UT. Joleen is survived by three children: Brittany(Jeramy)Pearson, Natalie Holmquist, Kevin Holmquist, Grandson, Kaelor Pearson and her Parents, Howard and LaNia Munson, Brothers: Steve(Lois)Munson, Ray Munson and Sisters: Lanette(Steve)Bulloch, Karen Munson, Heidi(Adam)Hunt, Heather(Russ)Maughan, Lynn Stapley and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Grandson Jaedon Pearson. Joleen was raised in Cedar City. She graduated from Cedar High School and Evans Cosmetology. She also graduated from Weber State with honors as a RN. She and her family lived in Paragonah, UT. For many years before moving to St. George. At the time of her death she was employed with Porter's Nursing Home. Joleen loved working as a nurse with the elderly. She also loved spending time outdoors with her family. We all love you and miss you, Joleen. A trust has been set up for Joleen at Stat Bank of Southern Utah to help with expenses.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel in Paragonah, UT. Burial will be in the Paragonah Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Swindlehurst Funeral Home
