The inquest dated Dec. 21, 1860 into the death of William Bright states his body was found lying on the trail the evening before by Thomas Feldman, who went looking for him after William Bright's 8 year old son, Thomas, came and said Mrs. Baer had sent him to request that Feldman meet William Bright on the trail. Shot and killed walking home from his mine on Central Hill, supposedly by his partner Mr. Baer. Sons Thomas, William, Robert Leonard. Widower of Sarah who died 3 days after the birth of Robert.
