Mrs. Bear died Sunday in a Wolf Point hospital. Born in Lodgepole, Mrs. Bear attended schools in Fort Belknap and Fort Shaw. At,the age of 16, she married Frank Bear and they lived at the Lower Big Warm near Lodgepole, until moving to Wolf Point about 30 years ago. He preceded her in death in 1962. For the past two years, she had lived at the Faith Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Millie Pond of Wolf Point; three nieces, one of whom she raised, Angela Shawl of Fort Belknap; 27 grandchildren, three of whom she raised, Barbara Garfield, Elaine Sears, and Vivian Hunts Along, all of Wolf Point; 79 great-grandchildren; and 36 great-great-grandhchildren.
Ten children preceded her in death.
