She was a lifelong resident of Bristol and a graduate of Colt Memorial High School in 1936. She was an inspector for the former Smith's Manufacturing Co, and Converse for 36 years before retiring in 1971. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Elizabeth Church.
She is survived by a sister, Anne Francis, of Bristol step-daughter Barbara Erickson, 3 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, 8 nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
