He departed his life on September 6th, 2018 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He became a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church at an early age.
He worked at Henry I Siegel plant in Bruceton, Tennessee until the plant closed and then worked at several other plants in the area till his health failed.
He was a person with a beautiful heart whom would help people whenever he could. He also took care of his family and friends. He just had a giving heart.
He leaves to mourn his passing four sisters: Mattie (Ricky) Taylor of Milan, Tennessee; Suzanne (Pastor Albert) Simmons of Jackson, Tennessee; Lisa (Elder Cleavon) Sowell of Trezevant, Tennessee and Maxine Hillsman; one brother: Terrance Hillsman of Trezevant, Tennessee; one special cousin: Maurine Strickland of Trezevant, Tennessee and a host of cousins; nieces; nephews, and a loving community full of family and friends.
