Mrs. Elizabeth Stout, age 81, of 121 Ann Street passed away at 6:45 last evening in Pittston Hospital where she had been a medical patient since June 8th. She was the widow of Leonard Stout.
Born in Hyde Park in 1879, Mrs. Stout was a daughter of the late Frank and Sara McConnell Phillips. She was a member of First Congregational Church, West Pittston and its Women's Missionary Society.
Surviving are three sons; Harry and William of West Pittston; and Raymond of Random; one daughter, Mrs. Russell Lidy of Dupont; two sisters; Mrs. Jeanette Stout of West Pittston and Mrs. Katie Kishbough of New York; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Maury Funeral Home, 111 Parke street on Friday afternoon at 2. Rev W. John Hill, pastor of First Congregational Church will officiate and interment will be in Ransom Cemetery. Friends may call this evening from 7 to 10 and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.

Stout Rites Held Today
The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Stout of 121 Ann street, widow of Leonard Stout, was held this afternoon at 2 from the Maury Funeral Home 111 Parke street. Rev. John Hill pastor of First Congregational Church, officiated and interment was in Ransom Cemetery.
Pallbearers all grandsons of the deceased, were William R. William L. Allan, Westley, Russell and Thomas Stout.
