Mr. Herbert Estep was born on May 5, 1949, and passed away on November 8, 1995 at the age of 46 years, 6 months and 3 days. A native of Clay County, he was the son of Cloyd Estep and the late Elizabeth Roark Estep. By occupation Mr Estep was a carpenter, and was affiliated with the Holiness Church. Mr Estep was preceded in death by: his mother Elizabeth Roark Estep; one brother: Johnny Estep.
Mr. Herbert Estep is survived by: his father: Cloyd Estep of Big Creek Kentucky; his daughter Teresa Renee Estep Asher and grandson James Kalen Asher of Stinnett, Kentucky three brothers Maynard and Adren Estep both of Big Creek Kentucky and Victor Estep of Stinnett Kentucky; two sisters Marilyn Zobrist of Dayton,Ohio and Carolyn J Jones of Harlan, Kentucky; a special friend Rhonda Simpson; also a host of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Estep were conducted on Sunday, November 12, 1995 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lower Jacks Creek United Church, Roark with Rev. Curtis Sizemore, Rev. Leroy Blackburn and Rev. David Gross officiating. Interment followed in the Estep Family Cemetery at Roark, under the direction of Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden. The following served as pallbearers Shawn Day, Robert Roark, Joey Roberts, Brian Zobrist, Glenn Estep, and Chris Farmer.
