Dorothy Clark Albergotti , 94, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died May 24,
1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Albergotti , a native of Cleveland, Ohio, was the widow of Robert Pascal
Albergotti Sr. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Gleason Sherman Clark and
Alice Russell Clark. Mrs. Albergotti , a graduate of Smith College, did
postgraduate work at Columbia University. She came to Norfolk in 1925 after her
marriage and became active in the community. Mrs. Albergotti was a Gray Lady
during World War II and was a member of the Junior League of Norfolk. Mrs.
Albergotti , a devoted member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd,
served her church in many ways.

Survivors include two daughters, Anne Albergotti Whittemore of Norfolk, Edith
Albergotti Drake of Norfolk; a son, Robert P. Albergotti Jr. of Norfolk; eight
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A church service will be conducted at noon Saturday in the Church of the Good
Shepherd, 1520 North Shore Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Ross Wright. Burial will
be private. The family will receive friends at 7700 North Shore Road, Norfolk.
Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1520 North
Shore Road, Norfolk, Va. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling
arrangements.
