LANGLEY, S.C. - Entered into rest Thursday, January 3rd, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, S.C., Mrs. Jewell W. Williams, 81, of Langley, S.C., wife of the late Brooks Williams and daughter of the late Lewis and Lillie Moon Widener. Born in Twin City, Ga., she had been a resident of the area most of her life. She worked at Seminole Mills for thirty-five years where she was a Spinner. Mrs. Williams formerly attended the Clearwater Lighthouse. Family members include children, the late Joyce E. Heatherly and Bertha "Snooky" O'Briant (Eddie Little), Belvedere, S.C.; grandchildren, Tim Heatherly (Heidi), Langley, S.C., Gina O'Briant, Belvedere, S.C., and Angela Wise (David), Trenton, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Christian Heatherly, Annika Heatherly, Sarah Wise, and Fawn Wise; and a great-great- grandson, Mahkel Bush. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6th, 2008 at 2 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, S.C. with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, S.C. Pallbearers will be Jerry Archer, Eddie Little, Steve Johnson, Calvin McCravy, and Alton McNeeley. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Williams be made to Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 326, Langley, S.C. 29834. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 5th, 2008 from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, S.C.
