My Great Great Grandfather was "Noah Jasper Hampton". He was actually born in 1844. At age 16 he ran away from home and joined the Confederate Army of Tennessee "18th Infantry Co.B" as a Private. He fought at Fort Donelson, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, LookOut Mountain, Missionary Ridge and the fight at Rocky Face, Resaca, Kennesaw Mt. and other Battles in the South.
