Bio

I am a Honorably Discharged Disabled Navy War Veteran. I have been working on my family tree (both parents branches Andrade, Brito / Stanton, Ford) for over 40 years as a hobby. I have also been looking into my in-laws for the kids & husband (Dorsett, Threatt, Burnett). I have always been interested in the past (you learn from your past to get to your future). I have been fascinated by cemeteries ever since I was little and lived near one in Salem, NJ. When I came across this site I thought it would only be fitting to remember all that have gone before us. This is a perfect way for someone working on their tree to come across. Everyone should be remembered in one way or another, to show that they were here on earth. I moved to Central Jersey when I was a teen and after the military, I came back to the same area. I've entered burial information here for many of my family members, friends, neighbors, loved ones and American Legion-VFW-veteran Comrades. I will continue to add burial info from local papers and headstone photos from cemeteries wherever I may visit.

Please keep in mind that this pursuit is completely done by VOLUNTEERS who spend countless hours in this dedicated effort to honor those that have passed before us. However, I understand that some folks do not want their relatives memorials posted on this site. I will honor all requests from IMMEDIATE family members to remove their relatives if they wish. Please state your relationship when contacting me. Remember that your relative's memorial was posted to honor them, so please take that into consideration when contacting me. Also, the information I use to submit a memorial is publicly available on-line so many people have access to it. Memorials are also submitted from information taken directly from grave markers when photo-documenting cemeteries by mowing the rows (sometimes it's a preneed marker (cost less to engrave now) or person had actually died and the family didn't have the dates engraved, you never know which).

CORRECTIONS: Did you spot an error? Did you add a headstone photo that contains information I should add/correct in the memorial? Please let me know and I will do the same for you. Click the Edit tab on the memorial page and use the links to enter the corrections. I will gladly make corrections or add missing info and links to other memorials. TRANSFERS: Click the Edit tab on the memorial page and use the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link to request a transfer. Both Your Find a Grave ID and the ID of the memorial are needed to complete the transfer. I will gladly transfer memorials over to a relative or a friend. Everybody keep up your great work.
