Bio

Just a simple man whose life and upbringing began on a dirt road in Lincoln Co. WV in a podunk community of Leet also known as Big Ugly. Left home when I was 18 went to the serve Ole Uncle Sam in the US Army, went lot a places, seen alot of things, climbed mountains, and jumped from perfectly good planes. Been around the world to different countries but I came home to WV for the last 10 years have worked in law enforcement and ran a couple businesses selling everything from cars to heavy equipment. Made a few dollars here and there but will never forget my roots on those dirt roads and its there where I developed my passion for cemetaries and the people who are buried there, and there legacy I feel compelled to preserve for future generations. I so remember as a young lad squirrel hunting and I found a small cemetary with 7 fieldstones as markers and it tore my soul someone lived, died, and now no memory remained it was a sad situation. Even though I live away from my childhood home I find myself, and my sons often riding those dirt roads myself living in the days gone bye and my sons feeling their hertigage and having a fine time, the old man passing his values and traditions on to them one dusty mile at a time. I often tell them if these roads could talk, what they would say and sometimes boys you gotta slow life down and listen what they do say...I am also a 32 Degree Mason and always enjoy meeting fellow brothers from all over, so if any other brothers share the same interests in graveyards or anything I can do for you in my area, please call upon me.
