Amy was Killed in an auto accident on her way to church on a Sunday night.She was active in the choir at Dogwood Valley Church Amy was married to a young preacher John David Dorsey and would have celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Dec.29,1995
Amy was born June 13, 1974 in Valdosta, GA. She was an accomplished pianist and soloist and was a member of the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill, GA where she was active in the choir. She was a graduate of the Class of 1992 at Columbia High School, in Lake City, FL. She was employed as a Secretary at the Chattanooga VA Out-patient Clinic. Mrs. Dorsey is preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles L. Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, John David Dorsey..

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec 14, 1995 at 3:00 p.m. from the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church with the Reverand Roy Gentry officiating. Mrs. Dorsey lied in state at the church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Amy was a very sweet person with a beautiful voice for singing, I believe she is singing with the Angels now.
