Our beloved Misty Moore Affleck, returned to the arms of her Heavenly Father on May 21 from a tragic automobile accident. She was born on May 8, 1979 in St. George, Utah on a rainy morning - that's why we called her Misty. She was a happy beautiful person who loved and always had a smile for everyone.
She graduated from Snow Canyon High School in 1997 and then attended Dixie College where she received her Associates degree. Presently Misty was enrolled in the nursing program at Stevens - Henager in Ogden, UT.
Misty was a very devoted mother, her children were her whole life! A recent quote from her personal journal reads "my kids are my whole world, they mean everything to me." She was also very close to her three brothers and especially her sister and best friend, Heidi. They did and shared everything together.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan Affleck, and their four beautiful little boys: Carson 9 yrs, Cole 8 yrs, Jake 7 yrs, and her baby Mason who is 2 yrs old. She is also survived by her parents, Kenneth and Kathryn Moore of St George, UT; brothers-Scott (Renee) Moore, Kyle (April) Moore also of St George, UT and brother Chad (Elizabeth) Moore of Provo UT; sister Heidi Baker (Spencer) of Walnut Creek, CA and grandmother Devon Codner of Monticello,UT. Misty also had a very large extended family with numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.
Misty will be greatly missed by everyone and we look forward to the day we see her again.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Shadow Brook LDS Chapel, 162 East Burton Lane, Kaysville, where a viewing will be held Friday morning 10-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Washington Cemetery, St. George.
