Mr. Reed, born in Ranson, WV; was the son of Lee Roy Reed, Sr. and Mary Woodward Reed. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with friends and family. He loved his dog Trixie. He was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson High School and was a member of the FFA Alumni. He also loved trains, Civil War history and spending time on his computer talking with friends. He was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and the New York Yankees, and an avid fan of Nascar, with Davey Allison being his favorite driver. He was a member of Friendship Fire Company of Harpers Ferry and Citizens Fire Company of Charles Town.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian and Willis Woodward and Clyde Milton Reed, Sr. and uncles Clyde M. Reed, Jr. and Junior Woodward.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his only daughter, Deanna Reed of Millville, sister, Mary E. Reed of Charles Town, ex-wife, Tracy Reed of Millville, grandmother, Naomi V. Reed of Shenandoah Junction, three uncles, Steve Reed, Lester Reed and Richard Reed, one aunt, Jean Reed, one great-uncle, Nelson Tarmon, and several cousins an close friends.
The family received friends two hours prior services at the church.
Funeral services were held at 2pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Millville Pentecostal Church with Pastor Benny Hardy officating.
Burial was made in Fairview Lutheran Cemtery, Bolivar, WV.
The family entrusted the care of Mr. Reed to the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home of Harpers Ferry/Charles Town, WV.
