The oldest of six children, Lorraine "Toody" (nee Weidner) Graziano got her nickname from a friend of her father who was living with the Wiedners when she was very little in Regal, Minnesota. Toody was a graduate of Minnesota's Paynesville High School and the Minneapolis School of Business.
Toody was introduced to her future husband, Gus Graziano, by Gus' sister-in-law Shirley. Gus and Toody got married at the Church of Saint Stephens in south Minneapolis on June 5, 1946. Their marriage was officiated by Fr. Donald Eichinger. Gus and Toody were happily married for 54 years, and together they had many canine companions.
Toody proudly worked for D.W. Onan (later the Onan Corporation) in Minneapolis for 37 years. Even after she and Gus relocated to Sun City, Arizona after their retirements, Toody remained connected with her former Onan colleagues, attending many retiree events in Phoenix and surrounding areas.
An excellent cook and a meticulous housekeeper, Toody was a friendly, outgoing woman who socialized often -- playing cards, sharing meals, volunteering -- and she had many friends and interests. May you rest in heavenly peace, Toody. ❤
