Ruby Elizabeth Hutto, 89, of Conway passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was born July 18, 1924 to the late Fred Legette and Essie Mae Meacham in Charlotte, NC. Ruby was a graduate of Hendrix College and of the University of Central Arkansas where she received a Masters of Education. She was a retired teacher, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ruby loved shopping, traveling, Hendrix and North Carolina basketball.

She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Morton Hutto, of 56 years. Ruby is survived by her daughter; Patty Martin (Butch), one grandson; Joey Martin, one great-grandson whom she adored; Walker Lee Martin, one brother; Dick Meacham (Julie), and her lifelong friend; Doris Butchart.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway in her honor, with burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
