Barbara, age 64, was the daughter of Ervin T. and Geneva (Goin) Lynch. She had been married to Louis Hales, Jr. She moved to Monroe with her family in 1955, from Tennessee. Barbara was a member of the True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed drawing; chatting and working on genealogy on the internet with friends. Barbara was the mother of Randy, James, Tanya, Keina, and Jackie, all of Monroe; and the sister of Wallace, Ron, and Larry, of Monroe. She was the loving grandmother of fourteen. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
