Goodbye Mom, our love goes with you as you journey to be with the Lord. He will take care of you much better than we ever could. Your pain and suffering is now gone. Watch over us as we continue our journey through life. We will meet again.

This was my Mom. She was the best Mom anyone could have asked for. She always had room for one more whether it be at the dinner table or a bed for someone to sleep in. I think if she had it to do over again, I think she wouldn't have changed a thing, not even the dying young part.

She was the youngest daughter of Samuel Bradley Walters and Mercy Adele Nash Thayer. She married James Edward Burns on 8 August 1946 in Wichita, Kansas, her children Vannessa Elizabeth, Jannessa Elaine, and Kathyrne Dee. She was a native of Fairfax, Oklahoma. She loved her family and enjoyed her friends. She liked to spend time cooking and baking for her family. She never turned anyone down for dinner that came by the house to visit.

Leukemia took her all too soon.

Her grandchildren and whom she never met, Trey, Timmy, Jimmy, Shanna, Missy, Kim, MJ, and Fioanna will miss her deeply.

She is deeply missed. May she forever Rest in Peace.
Aged: 43 years.

Daddy joined Mom on 22 April 2002. Heaven is a much better place now that they are together again.

I Love You Mom.

~~ I carry your Heart with me ~~

I wish Heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part...God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart!

"Our family chain is broken and nothing seems to be the same, but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again."

I believe that to go on without our loved ones we have to believe that death is just the beginning of an adventure. Her adventure begins without me...but I will see her on a snow flake in my eye lashes, I will feel her in the spring breezes, the summer sun, and the colors of a fall sky...I plan on having her with me always.

"Though her smile is gone forever
and her hand we cannot touch,
We shall never lose sweet memories
of the one we loved so much."

Sissy's Song -- Alan Jackson

Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know wny
Things happen half the time
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe

She flew up to heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

Loved ones she left behind
Just trying to survive
And understand the why
Feeling so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then asking for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hoping that maybe

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

It's hard to say goodbye
The picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry cause

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
