John W. Rogers was a passenger aboard Braniff International Airways Flight 352, flying from Houston Hobby Airport to Dallas Love Field on May 3, 1968. The plane was caught in a horrific thunderstorm and crashed in a field near Dawson, Navarro County, Texas. Five crew and 80 passengers lost their lives in this tragic incident.
