Daughter of the late Marcus H. Hughes and Bessie Davis Hughes (Curtis); widow of Connie Roy Hughes.

Survived by two daughters; two sons; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, and was preceded in death by a son, Charles William Hughes.

Funeral services: Wednesday, August 11, 2010, Liberty Mortuary Chapel.

Burial: West View Cemetery (Liberty).
