Mrs. Williams was born October 23, 1900, in Bell County, Kentucky, the daughter of James M. Buell and Polly Ann Baker Buell.
She was married at Clear Creek, Kentucky, May 25, 1920, to Mr. John Williams, the son of Cam and Martha Williams, of Bell County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Moss Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, the Rev. John Williams of Pineville, Kentucky; eight children, Mrs. Kathryn Martin of Lima, Ohio; Jim Williams and Avil Williams both of Burbank, California; Mrs. Martha Beggs, Kelly Williams, Andy Williams and Mrs. Barbara Hoskins, all of Pineville, Kentucky; Etta Rose Williams of Powell Valley, Tennessee; three brothers, Charlie Buell of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Joe Buell; and Hubert Buell of Lima, Ohio; two sisters Mrs. Roxie Queen of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Mrs. Judy Carroll of Lima, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 11, at the Moss Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends after noon today, Monday, at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel. Durham Funeral Home is in charge.
