Wayne D. Handy, age 85, passed away at his residence on April 24, 2018. He was a U S Army veteran and a employee of Dan River, Inc. for over 40 years. He was a member of Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 50 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Lorene Handy, a sister, Nellie Jean H. Clark, a brother, Samuel J. "Jack" Handy.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; two daughters Janet H. Barber (Timmy) and Judy H. Crews (Linwood); four grandchildren; sons Jesse Lowery and Dalton Lowery; sister Virginia H. Raileanu; step-brother Al Finney.
Burial will be at Swansonville P.H. Church cemetery.
