ADKINS, FRANKIE RAY HOUSTON - age 37 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010. He was a member of Bearden Gospel Baptist Church. Frankie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Trula Branum and Buster and Edna Adkins; best friend, Greg Simpson. He is survived by his parents, Clois and Betty Adkins; children, Ken "Cary", Frankie Lynn, Samantha and Ray; step-children, Laura and Chris; brothers, Eddie Fraker and Mike Collins; sister, Joy Lynn Fraker; and many aunts, Uncles and cousins; special friend, Sue Simpson. Frankie will be missed by many friends and love ones. The family will receive friends 5-7:00 P.M. Thursday at Bearden Gospel Baptist Church followed by a funeral service with Rev. Jim Branum officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday at Rocky Hill Cemetery for a 1:00 P.M. interment service. Pallbearers: Scott Tolliver, Dwight Denton, Jonathan Cowon, Aaron Garland, David Branum, Travis Collins, Billy Baker and Bobby Harper. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
