He was a loving son, brother and father.
He is survived by three loving children, Davona, Donovan and Zhantei, all of Charleston; mother, Helena Brown of Chesapeake; father and stepmother, Timothy and Margaret Scott, all of St. Albans; two brothers, S.Sgt. Patrick Ford, serving with the U.S. Army in Denver, Colo., Terrance “Lee” Brown of Chesapeake; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Collins of Charleston; one niece and three nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Riverview Baptist Church, Charleston with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
