"Jesse James Day
May 23, 1981 - Jan. 20, 2011
Jesse Day, 29, of Placerville, Calif., passed away peacefully after a very long illness at his home on Jan. 20, 2011, with his mother, sister and brother surrounding him. He attended Charter Home and Camino Schools and was a graduate of the class of 2000 at El Dorado High School. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Day; siblings, Sarah Day and Cody Day; grandparents, Jay and Barbara Pitcher; aunt, Jayann Askin; and a loving extended family.

Jesse will be greatly missed and always a part of our hearts.

A memorial and celebration of Jesse's life is being planned. The family invites you to join us on Feb. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Calvary Chapel of the Foothills in Shingle Springs, 4260 Business Drive. The family wishes to thank Bristol Hospice of Roseville for their dedication and continuous care of Jesse and his family. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to help cover the expenses of his illness and help them recover financially. Donations received in excess of what is needed will go to research for a cure for Gastroparesis. If you would like to donate please contact Jayann Askin at 530-306-7020."
