LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Robert Howard Helton, 40, Old Hare Road, East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Hospice Compassionate Care Center, Richmond, Ky.
A native of Laurel County, he was born Sept. 17, 1970, the son of Robert Ivan and Darlene Delph Helton, East Bernstadt. He was a laborer for a power crew and affiliated with the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his parents; his wife, Sandra Lois Smith Helton, London; children, Whitney Danielle Helton, London, Justin Michael Helton, East Bernstadt, and Matthew Howard Helton Seals, Annville; sisters, Julie Seals, Annville, and Angela Blevins, East Bernstadt; and a brother, Michael Helton, East Bernstadt.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at London Funeral Home Chapel with Denny McCowan and Tony Smith officiating.
Burial followed in Smith Cemetery, East Bernstadt.
Pallbearers were Josh Helton, Tim Helton, Phillip Whittemore, Nathan Miller, Chris Whittemore, Bryan Helton, Clayton Helton, Gary Helton, Adam Delph, Anthony Reynolds, Larry Helton and Joe Helton.
Honorary pallbearers were David Helton, Jason Delph, James Helton, Lloyd Eversole, Arnold Mink, Tracy Helton, Wayne Helton and Eugene Helton.
