Breanna Madison Amyx 9, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 . A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel.

Breanna Madison Amyx was born Sept. 16, 1998.
She was the third child of Todd and Jennifer Amyx of Boise.
Breanna was nine years old when our gracious Lord took her to be beside Him in heaven.
Breanna was in a near drowning accident when she was two years old and was living the rest of her life as a special needs girl. The words that best describe Breanna was "Angel on Earth." Because of Breanna's age she had not yet had the opportunity to accomplish the dreams of a small girl, yet in her difficult situation, she touched the lives of many people. Breanna was a fearless girl. Some of her favorite activities as a young girl was to go on dirt-bike rides and four-wheeler rides with her dad. It was always, "faster daddy, faster." Even later in her life she would get on Todd's Rhyno and go for a spin.
She loved to play with her sister Sidney in whatever mode of transportation could be found, most of the time it was a fast moving laundry basket that Sidney would push her around in. Another activity she loved was to jump on her brother Anthony's shoulders and race around the house like a dirt bike.

Breanna's premature birth, and struggles through that first month, created a special bond between her mother Jennifer and herself. This bond was strengthened even more after her accident in 2001. The special moments together after that were something known only to a mother and daughter.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jim Amyx; her great-grandparents Red and Jessie Amyx; her great-grandmother Julia Coy; her great-grandparents Ray and Audrey Sparks; and her aunt Lori (Coy) Higer.

She is survived by her parents Todd and Jennifer Amyx; brother Anthony; sister Sidney; grandparent Pat Amyx; and grandparents Venture and Darlene Coy.

Special thanks to the many people who ministered to and cared for Breanna in the last seven years.
