Nella Jane Vaughn Adams is the widow of Paul Hubert Adams. Surviving are two children; Carol and her husband Gregory Hood and Danny Douglas Adams; two granddaughters, nancy Allison Hardin and Jessica Jane Hood.

Also surviving are her sisters, Ella Dean Vaughn, Hazel Coffey, Myrtle Abbott and Irene Jones and her brother, Fred Vaughn.
