SUMMITVILLE- William H. Maynard, 85, 320 E. Summitville St., died suddenly this morning at St. John's Hospital in Anderson.
He was born in Summitville and had lived here all his life. He was retired from New York Central Railroad and was a veteran of World War 1 serving with the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Freda; two daughters, Dorothy (Claude) Goodwin, Summitville and Mary (William) Baker of Anderson; a son William Jr., of Marion; a sister, Estella Millage of Mishawaka; and five grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Karl M. Kyle Funeral Home with the Rev. James Meeks officiating. Burial will be at vinson Memorial Cemetery.
