Native of Cherokee County, SC and member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Daughter of James Preston and Etta Champman Hill and widow of Ralph Hill. She died May 14, 2001 in Magnolia Manor in Inman, SC following an extended illness. Survivors included: five daughters, Mrs. Annie Mae Hall, Mrs. Margaret Smith, Mrs. Ruth Loftis, Mrs. Ola Morris, and Evelyn Hill, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was 99 years of age at her demise.
