MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER DILLON, 17, of Huntington, W.Va., died Sunday, May 22, 2005. Funeral service will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, by Pastor Don Irby. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Michael was born November 12, 1987, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Garry A. and Theressa A. Baker Dillon. He attended Abundant Life Baptist Church, was a student at Huntington High School and a member of the football team. Additional survivors include his brother, Jeremy Allen Dillon; a sister, Jennifer M. Gangwish and husband J.D., and a niece, Carrie Ruthanne Gangwish, all of Shelton, Neb.; maternal grandparents Richard "Dick" Baker and Ruth A. Baker of Huntington; paternal grandparents Billy J. Dillon and Gloria Gean Dillon of Huntington; maternal great-grandfather Robert F. Zimmerman of Florida; aunts Sandy Hodge of Huntington and Alice Sprague of Mesa, Ariz.; uncles Richard A. Baker of Wiesbaden, Germany, Boyce Baker of Huntington, James Baker of Chiefland, Fla., Billy Dillon of Huntington and Sidney Dillon of Cottontown, Tenn.; and a host of cousins, great-aunts and -uncles. Pallbearers will be Heath Thomas, Marc Maynard, Kolby Johnson, Jonathan Cooper, Todd Irwin and Matt Jenkins. Members of the Huntington High School football team will be honorary pallbearers.
