Mrs. Alverta Foster Rites This Afternoon
Mrs. Alverta Johnson Foster, wife of Mr. Elmer Eventis Foster, died at the family home near Russell Springs on Tuesday. III for the past two years, the immediate cause of death was a heart condition. She was 63 years of age.
In addition to his husband, she leaves five daughters and five sons Mrs. Vernanda Tucker, Mrs. Lillie Smith, Mrs. Zillie Polston, and Mrs. Ovalene Polston, all of Fonthill, Mrs. Resa Whittle of Kennard, Indiana, Arthur Foster of Lexington, Indiana, Leeontis Foster of Knightstown, Indiana, Chester Foster of Windsor, Kentucky and Willie and Lendon Foster of Russell Springs.
Surviving also are two sisters and five brothers Mrs. Rosetta Belle Zimmerman of Vinnie, Kentucky, Mrs. Alta Dancy of Strickland, Illinois, Shelby Johnson of Windsor, Rufus Johnson of Springfield, Ohio, and Otha Green, George Oliver and Achilles Johnson of Vinnie, Kentucky as well as number of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at Square Oak Baptist Church, coducted by Rev. J. H. Bloyd. Burial will be in the Square Oak Cemetery. Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
