Alice Louise McRae, 79, of Bridge City, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Harbor Hospital in Orange.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City, with burial following at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Born in San Augustine on September 21, 1930, she was the daughter of Leslie and Irene (Lawson) Tackett.

Mrs. McRae was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Irene Tackett; husband, James McRae; and sister, Lucille Dickerson.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Glenda Townsend of Orangefield, Kenneth and Sandy Townsend, Rodney and Debbie Townsend, all of Bridge City; and her stepson, Kenny McRae.

Also surviving is her sister, Margie Bingham of Orange; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
