Born May 3, 1927, in Hammond, Ind., son of Melvin C. and Hazel Suttinger Lewis Sr. He married Louise McCraw on Oct. 19, 1950, in Champaign, Ill. She survives. Other survivors: two sons, Elliott of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Timothy A. of Paxton; four daughters, Patty Rudicil of Champaign, Melinda Willis of Homer, Angel Harrison of Houston, and Debbie Lewis, at home; 10 grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and a brother.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Kirby Funeral Home in Homer; Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday; Officiating: Rev. Charles Alt; Burial: G.A.R. Cemetery in Homer; Memorials: Homer Church of Christ.
