Danny Glenn Rose, age 69, of Carlisle, OH; died Tuesday January 6, 2009 at Garden Manor. Danny was born in Campton, KY on May 5, 1939 to Moody and Peggy (Napier) Rose. He served in the U. S. Army for 2 years in Germany.

Danny is survived by his wife 28 years Beatrice (Jones) Rose; a son Jimmy Lee Rose of Carlisle; a daughter Linda Lu of Chicago, IL; 3 step sons Jack Alan Kirby of Hamilton, Billy Wade Kirby of Franklin, and Teddy Lee Kirby of Gallipolis, OH; brothers and sisters Corine Cooper of Monroe, James Franklin Rose of Campton, KY, Louise Collins of Miamisburg, John Willis Rose of Campton, KY, David Wayne "Pig" Rose of Campton, KY, Wilma Sue Martin of Indianapolis, IN, mother Peggy Rose of Campton, KY; grandchildren; an aunt Mazie Ratcliff; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Friday January 9, 2009 at 12pm at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev Don Clarkson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
