George W. Murray was born at Gridley, a son of George M. and Laura Fehr Murray. He married Virginia Sparrow Nov. 18, 1950 in Danville.
Surviving are his wife and three grandchildren.
His parents and a stepson, (Jim Parks) preceded him in death.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign War posts.
