GLADEWATER - Services for Martha Helen Abbott, 93, of Gladewater, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, with Dale Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Mrs. Abbott died January 24, 2009, at a Gladewater nursing home.
Born March 19, 1915, in Hunt County, she was a retired social worker with the Texas Department of Human Services for more than 35 years and a member of DAR, the Eastern Star and Quitman and Center Streets Church of Christ.
