Jones, Charles Travis
LONGVIEW - Graveside services for Charles Travis Jones, 79, Longview, formerly of Diana, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willow Oak Cemetery in Upshur County under the direction of Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer.
Mr. Jones died Oct. 26, 2008, in Longview.
He was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Upshur County to the late Willie A. and Lena Kilgore Jones. He worked at Lone Star Steel as a crane operator before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Pittman Jones.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Jones Jr., Austin, and David Jones, New Jersey; daughter, Ellen Jones Peeler, Longview; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
