Was captured at Falling Waters, WVa on 7/14/1863; exchanged from Point Lookout, Md on 3/3/1864. On clothing receipts roll for March, April, and Sept. 1864. He was paroled at Ashland on 4/28/1865 with the rank of Sgt.
